Milo Miller has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, including more than 15 years representing homeowners, homeowner associations, developers, builders, contractors and design professionals.
Milo has served as General Counsel for some of the largest privately owned contracting companies in Colorado and was responsible for overseeing contract management/negotiation for over $500 million dollars worth of contracting and oil & gas construction projects, and over $40 million dollars in residential construction. Milo also recovered millions of dollars for his clients through claims, mediation and collections.
Milo spent seven years with firms specializing in representing homeowner associations experiencing construction defects. During this time, Milo was directly responsible for generating in excess of $35 million in recoveries through arbitration and trial.
During his last trial, the jury awarded his homeowner clients the maximum damages requested in a roofing defect case that also involved toxic mold growth. The case isHillhouse v. Mountain High Roofing, Inc. and a case summary was published in the December 2010 Colorado Jury Verdict Reporter.
Milo was a Dean’s List Student and graduated from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad School of Law in 1997. After graduating from law school, he interned with the Honorable Sandra I. Rothenberg with the Colorado Court of Appeals.
In addition to his significant experience as a construction defect attorney, Milo also applies his nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry as an expert consultant to law firms on construction matters.
